Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Design Manager for the Newbury office to own two projects from preconstruction through delivery. You will coordinate design teams, manage consultants and ensure information aligns with programme requirements, working closely with clients and the wider project team.

Projects are typically around £15m and range across extra-care, retirement developments, care homes and housing schemes, with some home-working days and a strong pipeline in the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in a main contractor environment in Design Management or Design Coordination.
• Ability to manage consultants, subcontractor design input and project stakeholders.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and proactive design issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Own the design process from preconstruction through to delivery.
• Coordinate project design teams and ensure information is developed and issued in line with programme requirements.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants and wider project teams to manage design information.
