Job summary

B&M Retail Limited is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the creative direction across the Home categories, translating trends into packaging and customer-facing design.

You will mentor a team of designers and work closely with Buying, Packaging, Product Development and Marketing to deliver cohesive seasonal stories while upholding brand standards and ensuring consistent outputs across all touchpoints. This office-based role is 4 days at Speke Liverpool with 1 day from home.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Creative Lead, Senior Designer or Design Manager.

Responsibilities

• Identify and interpret emerging trends, translating them into commercially relevant packaging and creative direction.
• Develop cohesive seasonal and trend-led stories across Home categories, aligning with brand standards.
• Mentor and develop designers across Home departments with clear feedback and direction.
• Encourage collaboration and consistency across categories and outputs.
• Collaborate with Buying, Packaging, Product Development and Marketing to meet commercial objectives.
• Oversee packaging direction across Home categories to ensure brand consistency in layouts, typography and messaging.
