Job summary

Tradeline Recruitment seeks a Design Coordinator/Manager to oversee non-residential design activities in Milton Keynes. You will report to the Director of Design and collaborate with the Site Manager and Pre-construction teams on design packages and procurement strategies.

Applicants should have architectural/design qualifications, experience in construction project design, and strong meeting/negotiation skills to drive compliant design output in a design-led environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction project design via Architecture or Main Contractor routes.
• Knowledge of the regulatory environment.
• Good understanding of Design & Build process.
• Active involvement in meetings: organizing, preparing, chairing, minutes.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and output specs.
• Review design, procurement and construction information for compliance with project docs.
• Review design output for compliance with client specs.
• Prepare monthly report on activity to Design Manager.
• Contribute to the Design Management Plan (DMP).
• Prepare the project documents as required.
