We're looking for a talented and experienced person to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent and make a positive impact within our growing business. The role involves managing the design process from pre-construction through to the construction phase for projects up to £30m.

Job Purpose

Manage the design process from pre-construction to ensure compliant, accurate, and timely design information using experience, knowledge, and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Plan all aspects of the project, identify challenges, and propose cost-effective solutions
• Work within current legislation, standards, and codes of practice
• Eliminate health, safety, and financial risks during construction
• Ensure a steady flow of quality information to meet project timelines
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders through open and clear communication

Experience

• Understanding of traditional construction and Design & Build (D&B)
• Thorough knowledge of CDM regulations
• Experience with software such as BIM and 4Projects

Candidate Qualities

• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Knowledge of alternative procurement methods, including frameworks, negotiated, and two-stage tenders
