We're looking for a talented and experienced person to join our team in Leeds and make a positive impact within our growing business. Managing the design process from pre-construction through to and including the construction phase for projects up to £30m.

Job Purpose

Managing the design process from the pre-construction stage to provide compliant, accurate, and timely design information using experience, knowledge, and technical expertise.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning all aspects of the project, identifying challenges, and bringing imaginative and cost-effective solutions
• Working within current legislation, standards, and codes of practice
• Eliminating health, safety, and financial risks during construction
• Ensuring a steady flow of quality information to meet project timelines
• Building solid relationships with stakeholders and maintaining open communication

Experience required:

• Understanding of traditional construction and Design & Build (D&B)
• Thorough understanding of CDM regulations
• Knowledge of software such as BIM and 4Projects

Ideal candidate qualities:

• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Understanding of various procurement methods, including frameworks, negotiated, and two-stage tenders
