Job summary

Nscale is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the design process for our high-density AI infrastructure projects, based on-site in Narvik. You will drive design packages through concept to delivery, ensuring code compliance, constructability, and alignment with budget and schedule across global partner teams.

Qualifications

Experienced design manager for data centre or high-performance computing projects.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems and AI compute infrastructure.
Proficient with BIM tools and cloud collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

Involvement in full lifecycle of data centre and infrastructure design from concept to drawings.
Review design packages for code compliance, constructability, and performance.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align design with business objectives.
Coordinate permitting processes with local consultants.
Design facilities for advanced compute clusters and liquid cooling solutions.
Maintain design deliverables and documentation workflows using BIM tools.
