Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Design Manager for a long-term commercial build project in the UK. You will lead the design process across the project lifecycle, coordinating consultants, architects, and specialist subcontractors to protect buildability and programme deadlines.

Responsibilities include reviewing design information, addressing design and technical issues, and ensuring design outputs align with project programmes while supporting delivery teams. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Design Manager with a main contractor.
• Experience delivering commercial construction projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and Building Regulations.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and meet project deadlines.
• Full UK Driving Licence
