The company:

My client is a Main Contractor with a turnover of circa £80 million. They are looking to bolster their Design team with an experienced individual who will hit the ground running.

This is a great opportunity to join a highly regarded Main Contractor that has been delivering lasting impact for clients within both the Public and Private Sectors. The ideal candidate will be a Design Manager joining the Building Division to support the team. The Role:

1. Manage and coordinate the design process, ensuring all designs are delivered to the highest standards, within budget and timescales.
2. Manage and mitigate design risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring designs meet client and stakeholder requirements, working closely with the Project Manager and Commercial team to deliver within budget and timescales.
3. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on all design-related matters.

What we want from you:

• Previous experience as a Design Manager within the construction industry.
• Strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Live within or commutable to Birmingham.
• Experience on Education and Healthcare projects (Preferred but not necessary).
