My client are a well established Tier 1 Main Contractor, with an office in Hertfordshire and currently have a number of exciting new projects in place which they are looking for aDesign Managerto join their Southern region.

Design ManagerResponsibilities

• As a Design Manager you'll be working within the Design team, supporting them on projects across a variety of different sectors including Commercial, Public Sector and Health.
• Design input at both preconstruction and construction stage of projects.
• The production of design programmes, design scopes, design responsibility matrices, appointments, schedules.
• Attending/chair necessary meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• A proven background working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor
• Proven ability to manage projects and deliver quality work on time, within budget
• Previous experience of successfuldesign management of construction schemes over £10m
• Relevantdesign or equivalent qualification
