Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Freelance Design Manager to support major infrastructure delivery in the UK, based in Norwich. You will oversee design assurance, ensure works are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Your day-to-day includes optimising engineering assurance with external partners, managing design changes, and acting as the main point of contact for technical queries through design and construction.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering complex projects to time, cost and quality targets.
• Strong organisational, planning and communication skills.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit or BIM.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Optimising engineering assurance processes for designs developed by external design partners.
• Managing design changes and acting as the main point of contact for technical queries throughout the design and construction phases.
