Job description

At Dornanwe are currently recruiting for a Design Manager to Join a Pharma Project in Surrey.

Responsibilities

• Planning, designing and delivering the project.
• Leading the Project BIM Coordinators as part of the team.
• Coordinating with Dornan Engineers, Design Teams and 3rd party contractors.
• Developing the project program and BIM delivery strategy.
• Managing the workload of project Revit Technicians.
• Co‑ordinating the BIM team.
• Collaborating with 3rd Party Contractors and designers.
• Chairing Weekly Coordination Meetings and Breakout Workshops.
• Managing the Master Revit MEP Model.
• Producing weekly updates of the Navisworks Model and issuing Clash Detection Reports.
• Working with 3rd Party Contractors and designers to resolve clashes.
• Generating full 4D and 5D models.
• Performing other reasonable tasks assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of the BIM Lead role.
• Commercial understanding.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental systems.
• Awareness of the team's strengths and weaknesses.
