Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan seeks a Design Manager or Design Coordinator to support a national housing framework contract in London on a 6–9 month freelance basis. The role involves coordinating design in the refurbishment of borough properties, including external works and internal decoration, with progression from pre-construction to on-site delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a UK construction qualification and at least 5 years’ experience as a Design Manager for main contractors, including PCSA

Design Manager / Design Coordinator – National Housing Framework Contracts

This leading Tier 1, national contractor has an immediate requirement for a Design Manager or Design Coordinator to work on a 6–9-month freelance contract to support a housing framework in London.

For this Design Manager role, you will have the opportunity to join a busy contractor with numerous projects due to start and on site. They are a thriving business and have opportunities in a variety of sectors as Education, Healthcare, MOJ and MOD frameworks, residential and also major projects.

This Design Manager or Design Coordinator role is within their partnership housing framework for local authorities. Specifically, a large contract for a borough of North London specialising in the refurbishments of properties which will include; external works, internal decoration, fire/remedials etc.

A UK construction qualification is required for this role and at least 5yrs working as a Design Manager for main contractors on projects as above mentioned. Another benefit will be to have worked on PCSA and pre-construction through to being on site and completion of the projects.
