Job summary

One Way Resourcing is seeking a Design Manager for a leading Main Contractor in the Southampton area. The role will involve coordinating design activities across live projects and tender proposals, liaising with architects, consultants, structural engineers, highway agencies, local authorities and other contractors to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Design Manager within main contractor environments, with design-and-build project experience.

Design Manager required to join leading Main Contractor based in the Southampton area.

The Design Manager will have a proven background as a Design Manager and will be required to assist with tenders, bids and proposals as well as live projects. The Design Manager will be confident and competent liaising with architects, consultants, structural engineers, highway agencies, local authorities and other contractors. The Design Manager will be highly organised and efficient at managing the flow of information and drawings to all relevant parties ensuring the co-ordination of all works to programme.

The Design Manager ideally come from a main contractor background with design and build project experience. Typical project values are £100k up to £6m across new build and refurbishment across various sectors
