We're partnering with a respected high-end office fit-out contractor based in Bristol, known for delivering sleek, functional, and inspiring workspaces for some of the UK's most forward-thinking businesses. With a strong pipeline of bespoke projects, they are seeking a talented Design Manager to take the lead on design coordination and delivery across multiple fit-out schemes.

The Role:

As Design Manager, you'll be the vital link between client vision and construction reality working closely with clients, architects, consultants, and site teams to ensure design integrity, compliance, and delivery excellence from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all design aspects of office fit-out projects
• Interpret client briefs and support in developing creative, buildable solutions
• Oversee design programmes and ensure key milestones are met
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to resolve technical challenges
• Review drawings, specifications, and contractor designs for compliance and buildability
• Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, planning requirements, and health & safety

About You:

• Proven experience in a Design Manager or Senior Design Coordinator role
• Strong background in commercial fit-out or interiors (essential)
• Confident liaising with clients and consultants at every stage of a project
• Excellent understanding of construction methods, detailing, and technical drawings
• Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.)
• Creative thinker with commercial awareness and an eye for design quality
• Based in or near Bristol (or open to regional travel)
