Senior Design Manager / Design Lead

Tier One Main Contractor

£85,000 - £95,000 + package

Amida is currently recruiting for a Design Lead / Senior Design Manager for a leading principal contractor in Central London.

The company has recently been awarded major schemes across London, including residential, commercial, and public realm buildings, involving complex cut and carve and high-profile new build developments. Candidates should have extensive experience delivering schemes valued at over £100M.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Driving all design-related project outcomes.
2. Providing technical expertise in design management and acting as the focal point for all technical design matters on projects.
3. Collaborating with the project commercial manager to produce project-specific designer agreements, clearly defining the scope of works and design responsibilities.
4. Liaising with the project planner to develop, agree upon, and manage a realistic design programme to meet procurement and construction requirements.

They are seeking candidates with extensive multi-sector experience in delivering design management across various building types. The ideal candidate will understand how to identify risks within the design process and successfully deliver bid presentations.
