As a senior member of the Marketing Team, the Design Lead will oversee a team of in-house designers and external resources. They will influence and contribute to global strategic projects across the Marketing Team and the wider business. The role requires excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders and the ability to work cross-functionally. The team is undergoing change following significant growth, and this role will be pivotal in transforming the function through new techniques and technologies to optimize global efficiency and creative output.

The Design Lead is responsible for maintaining the CFC brand and visual identity, acting as a brand ambassador to ensure consistency and high-quality creative work across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of three designers plus external resources, providing guidance, feedback, and support for professional development.
  • Assess team performance, set development goals, and foster a growth-oriented environment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify design needs, prioritize projects, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Oversee the creative process to ensure outputs are high-quality, brand-aligned, and user-focused.
  • Drive the evolution and consistent application of the CFC brand across all regions, products, and channels.
  • Lead brand development initiatives for all entities within the CFC group.
  • Promote brand consistency through training, onboarding materials, and internal engagement activities.
  • Stay informed on design trends and competitor activities to keep the brand fresh and competitive.
  • Manage design budgets and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience leading design teams in a global organization, with a background as a multidisciplinary graphic designer.

You should have experience supporting a fast-growing, international business, with the ability to implement tools and methods that optimize design resources and workflows.

You are a creative thinker with expertise in brand identity, art direction, and a solid technical understanding of creative design, including editorial, typography, digital design, social media, web design, event design, and motion graphics.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and Microsoft Office is required.
