Job summary

RSE is seeking an experienced Design Lead to join our Inverness office to lead multi-disciplinary design activities, ensuring compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards. You will coordinate design development, maintain programmes, and oversee calculations, reports, drawings and technical documentation, while aligning with procurement and contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND, HNC in Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a design engineering environment.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
• Experience preparing and managing design programmes.
• Understanding of project delivery, procurement processes, and contractual documentation.
• Water and wastewater industry experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of WIMES specifications, UK Design Standards and Water Authority standards would be advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Our Treatment Solutions business platform is recruiting for an experienced Design Lead to join them on a permanent basis at our office in Inverness. This role will be responsible for the leadership, coordination, and successful delivery of multi‑disciplinary design activities, ensuring compliance with client specifications and current regulatory standards.
