Job summary

Concept Eight Architects invites an enthusiastic Part I/II Architectural Assistant to join our Weybridge design studio. You will contribute to design-led residential projects from inception through to completion, using AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

Part I - must have passed degree; min 6 months' relevant architectural experience in a UK practice
Part II - must have passed both degrees; min 12 months' relevant architectural experience in a UK practice
Enthusiasm for residential architecture and interiors
Excellent command of English, written and spoken
Communication skills over telephone with clients, suppliers and professionals
CAD proficiency in AutoCAD 2D
SketchUp modelling skills
Photoshop & InDesign for presentations
Office suite (Word, Excel) proficiency
Awareness of AI tools within architectural practice

Responsibilities

Ownership of the development of project deliverables under senior guidance
Work on range of design-focused residential projects from inception to completion
Production of presentation materials, drawings, schedules and specifications
Submission of planning, listed building and building regulation applications with coordination of technical material
