• Lead technically challenging projects from concept through detailed design, including calculations, drawings, specifications and risk assessments.
• Broaden technical experience across demolition stability, façade retention, propping, excavations, piling, working platforms, crane bases, formwork, falsework and reinforced concrete stability.
• Collaborate with a company director to influence technical decisions and deliver practical, commercially effective engineering solutions.
• Mentor and support engineers, contribute to recruitment and help build the capability of the wider team.
• Manage design programmes, resources and technical reviews to meet demanding deadlines without compromising quality or safety.
• Maintain robust design records, strengthen checking procedures and champion continuous improvement across the business.

The Opportunity

• Lead technically challenging projects — take ownership of temporary works design from concept through to detailed design, including calculations, drawings, specifications and risk assessments.
• Broaden your technical experience — work across demolition stability, façade retention, propping, excavations, piling, working platforms, crane bases, formwork, falsework and reinforced concrete stability.
• Work closely with senior leadership — collaborate directly with a company director, contributing to technical decisions and the delivery of practical, commercially effective engineering solutions.
