Job summary

Role Design Engineer role

Location Fakenham , Norfolk

Working hours Monday to Friday Full time hours

Capacity of role Permanent position

Salary - £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

Our client is currently recruiting for a Design Engineer to join their Drawing office. The role focuses on modifying and improving existing designs, ensuring products are cost-effective, manufacturable, and meet high technical standards.

Main duties will includes

• Production of accurate manufacturing drawings.
• Production of full assembly drawings & parts lists from manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks
• Modifications and revision of design drawings.
• Aid production with troubleshooting and design improvements.
• Preparing concept designs for new products.
• Store and organise drawings, ensuring all information is accessible and up to date
• Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.
  
  

Qualifications/Experience

• Experience in drawing office methods & practices
• Good all round knowledge of 2D/3D CAD systems as well as Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SolidWorks / SolidWorks PDM or similar CAD software.
• Ability to work as part of a small experienced team.
