Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is working with a Derby-based client to recruit a Design Engineer (Mechanical/SolidWorks). You will design and detail components and drawings for theme-park related products with SolidWorks, liaising with production to ensure smooth manufacture.

The role offers progression to a Senior position, tailored in-house training, and a salary of £35,000 - £42,000 plus 28 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and detailing components and drawings.
• Mechanical engineering background required.
• Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and make detailed drawings on SolidWorks.
• Produce CAD drawings for theme park rides and attractions.
• Coordinate with production to ensure smooth manufacture.
