Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Design Engineer (Mechanical/SolidWorks) in Derby to create and detail drawings for our leisure-industry projects and to coordinate with production for smooth manufacturing.

With 8am–5pm hours and 42.5 contracted hours, the role offers progression to a Senior level and tailored in-house training. Salary ranges from £35,000 to £42,000 plus 28 days holiday and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Design and detail drawings for projects.
• SolidWorks experience required.
• Liaise with production to ensure smooth manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Design and make detailed drawings on SolidWorks.
• Work on theme park rides and attractions projects.
• 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday (42.5 contracted hours).
• Tailored in-house training on product and software.
