Williams Manufacturing in the West Midlands is seeking a Design Engineer with a strong mechanical background. You will be heavily involved in NPD, designing from scratch and collaborating across departments to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions.

You will predominantly use SolidWorks for 3D design, manage multiple projects, and support updates to drawings. This on-site role offers a supportive team and opportunities to grow in engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience with 3D design in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to design from scratch and for manufacture/assembly.
• Experience coordinating multiple design projects and liaising with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Design for manufacture and 3D design using SolidWorks.
• Design from scratch and remodification of existing designs where needed.
• Plan and manage multiple design projects concurrently across departments.
• Provide design support and update engineering drawings for the business.
