Job summary

PE Global is recruiting a Design Engineer for a leading multinational industrial manufacturer based in Desford, Leicestershire on a 12-month contract. The role involves modeling, detailing and simulating in CREO, releasing designs, and supporting NPI from concept to production within a cross-functional team.

You will work on ground engaging equipment such as buckets and forks, contribute to validation plans, and leverage Teamcenter for CPI changes.

Qualifications

Approximately 5-10 years relevant engineering experience preferred.
Product design and development using CREO / Pro-E
Mechanical engineering background
PLM / Teamcenter experience and product development processes
Heavy machinery and equipment knowledge desirable
Testing and validation activities

Responsibilities

Modeling, Detailing, Simulation in Creo (ProE)
Design, fit-up, test and tune new solutions
Supporting team development of ground engaging equipment (buckets, forks and other material handling devices)
Support NPI programs to introduce a new solution to the marketplace
Develop and execute a validation plan to introduce a product that achieves reliability targets
Utilize NPI and accelerated NPI processes to support a cross functional team from concept to production (GW1 – GW7)
Releasing new designs and current production changes (CPI issue resolution) in Teamcenter UA
