Ernest-Gordon-Recruitment-Limited is partnering with a Macclesfield-based client to recruit a Design Engineer (Compliance / DFM) with machinery safety and regulatory experience. The role involves inspections, risk assessments, and advising on compliance, with travel across the UK and international visits.

Salary ranges from £60,000 to £68,000 plus a company bonus, car allowance, training, progression, 33 days holiday, private medical healthcare and opportunities for travel.

Are you a Design engineer with DFM experience in machinery, looking to develop your career as you progress into a technical expert within a UK approved body for certification that provide specialist niche consultancy services for high-calibre clientele?

Are you wanting an autonomous, varied, and complex position with training provided as you develop into a fully-fledged Compliance Engineer where you will be advising SMEs on regulations and machinery compliance?

In this role you will be carrying out inspections and assessments on a diverse range of machinery, reviewing documents and designs, and advising clients on amendments to ensure compliance with machinery safety regulations. This role requires ample travel opportunities across the UK, and international visits including the US, Japan, and across Europe.

The Role:

• Carry out machinery inspections and risk assessments

• 40 hours a week, flexible shift pattern
