Job summary

Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Design Engineer in Ferndown to design and manufacture bespoke packaging machinery and automated production systems. You will work on both new designs and modifications, producing detailed drawings and 3D models as part of a collaborative engineering team.

The role offers a salary of £35,000 - £50,000 basic, plus training, long-term stability, and a friendly team atmosphere with Monday-Friday hours and pension/holiday benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Design Engineer or similar role.
• Proficient with 3D CAD tools and technical drawings.
• Ability to design within manufacturing and packaging environments.

Responsibilities

• Design bespoke packaging machinery and automated equipment.
• Create detailed engineering drawings and documentation.
• Develop new designs and modify existing equipment.
• Produce 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, controls, production and commissioning engineers.
