Galaxy Personnel is recruiting for a Design Engineer to join a busy drawing team in Norfolk. The role requires experience with Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and 3D design in a manufacturing setting. You will contribute to BOM creation and support continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring safe, standards-compliant designs.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, full-time, in-office. A degree or HND in engineering or manufacturing is desirable.

Formación

• Experience within manufacturing business.
• Autodesk Inventor 3D, SolidWorks, or similar 3D software and AutoCAD experience.
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Desirable - Degree/HND in an engineering/manufacturing qualification or equivalent work experience in a related role.

Responsabilidades

• To assist with the continued implementation of Autodesk Inventor 3D and Vault Professional within the Engineering & Design Team.
• Creating bill of materials for production process
• To be involved in continuous improvement techniques, lean initiatives and other activities to improve the overall efficiency of the Company, including via ISO 9001 accreditation.
• To utilise best practice and ensure that all designs eliminate hazards and reduce risks, as far as is reasonably practicable.
• To assist change and develop more efficient processes within the Engineering & Design team
