M5tec Limited seeks a Design Engineer to create and optimise mechanical designs for safety-critical systems across the product lifecycle. You will work within multi-disciplinary teams and with clients to deliver robust designs from concept through commissioning.
To qualify, a 2:1 degree in Mechanical/Design Engineering and 1–2 years in regulated sectors are required; strong CAD and clear communication are essential.
Our engineer role requires the application of engineering and scientific principles to deliver and optimise safe, sustainable solutions for the design, construction, production, and operation of systems, devices, machines, structures, and processes through the full lifecycle from requirements, to design, manufacture and commissioning.
An enthusiasm for engineering combined with the proven ability to analyse problems and develop effective solutions using a strong understanding of engineering principles within a chosen discipline. A practical background is preferred with several years of applied experience is necessary.
The ability to communicate is essential with excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-engineers and stakeholders.
