Job summary

3 Sixty Resourcing is seeking a Design Engineer for a permanent role in Mansfield. You will design electrical and building services solutions, producing route and layout drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and Inventor, and coordinate with project teams across the UK and Europe.

The ideal candidate will interpret technical drawings, manage multiple projects, and work both independently and with colleagues. On offer are a company car, private medical care, pension, and generous holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; Inventor and Revit are a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with electrical systems or building services is beneficial.
• Ability to interpret and understand technical and engineering drawings.
• Competent in the use of standard IT tools and software.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce route and layout drawings using Revit and CAD software.
• Collaborate with the Design Manager and project teams to create detailed drawings.
• Engage with Revit models and Autodesk Docs for file sharing and coordination.
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, manufacturing staff and installation contractors.
• Conduct occasional on-site surveys to support design and installation planning.
• Work with Engineering Department to deliver customer-focused solutions from initiation to completion.
• Comprehensive product training will be provided.

Due to significant growth and expansion, we require an experienced Design Engineer to join their expanding team and take lead of multiple electrical / building services projects throughout the UK and Europe.

What's involved for the Design Engineer
