Job summary

Greenacre Environmental Systems Ltd in Dewsbury is seeking a Design Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis. You will be involved in all aspects of projects from scoping and detailed design through to implementation, within an established SME backed by a national business.

Key duties include producing 3D models and CAD drawings, compiling design specifications, GA drawings, site surveys, and liaising with clients and suppliers to deliver quality outcomes on time.

Qualifications

• Formal mechanical/design biased qualification (HNC minimum)
• Experience developing CAD complex designs
• Good written and verbal communications skills

What Are We Looking For?

Greenacre Environmental Systems is looking for a Design Engineer to join the business on a permanent basis based in Dewsbury. You will be joining an established team where you will be involved in all aspects of projects from scoping and detailed design right through to implementation. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a specialist SME with an impressive order book who have the backing and support of a national business.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

• Liaise with Engineers and Managers in producing 3D Models and CAD drawings.
• Compile design specifications.
• Producing GA and detailed design drawings.
• Conduct site surveys.
• Complete required deliverables within allocated project time scales.
• Comply with company quality assurance procedures.
• Liaise with Clients and suppliers.

What Do You Need?

• A formal Mechanical or Design biased qualification - HNC minimum - Degree preferable.
• Demonstrable experience of developing CAD complex designs.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidEdge (preferable)
• Strong design and technical skills.
• The ability to work quickly and accurately with attention to detail required.
• Full UK Driving Licence
