Rise Technical is recruiting a Design Engineer in Birmingham to lead temporary works and groundworks design. The role sits in an expanding Midlands team, with opportunities to influence project design and engage with customers.

You will work between the office and site visits, delivering compliant designs and technical support. Applicants should have a Civil/Structural engineering degree and experience in temporary works, with AutoCAD or Revit proficiency.

Are you a Design Engineer with experience in temporary works or groundworks design, looking to join one of the world's largest engineering support businesses where you'll have the opportunity to build a long-term career?

Due to continued investment and growth, they are establishing a new engineering function in Birmingham and are looking for a motivated Design Engineer to lead the way.

You’ll act as the key technical link between engineering and commercial teams, producing temporary works designs, attending customer meetings, carrying out design checks and supporting major groundworks projects across the Midlands.

The Role

The Person

• BSc/Beng/HNC/HND in Civil, Structural Engineering or similar.
• Experience designing temporary works.

• Understanding of Legislations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
