Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Design Engineer (Groundworks / Temporary Works) in Birmingham. The role is office-based with Midlands site visits, offering a salary of £45,000 - £50,000 plus training, progression, and various benefits.

You will design and check temporary works and groundworks, attend client meetings, and support the commercial team while developing core engineering skills in a growing Midlands team.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng/HNC/HND in Civil, Structural Engineering or similar.
• Experience designing temporary works.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit.
• Understanding of applicable legislations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Are you a Design Engineer with experience in temporary works or groundworks design, looking to join one of the world's largest engineering support businesses where you'll have the opportunity to build a long-term career?

You’ll act as the key technical link between engineering and commercial teams, producing temporary works designs, attending customer meetings, carrying out design checks and supporting major groundworks projects across the Midlands.
