Energis is currently recruiting for a Design Engineer for our manufacturing client who have gone through a period of consistent steady growth, and who prides itself in excellent customer service. The role is based near Belfast.

Using AutoCAD and Solidworks, the successful Design Engineer will work closely to client requirements, generating bespoke engineering designs in line with approved budget and schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of design from initial concept through to project delivery
• Work closely with other departments to ensure product is delivered on time and budget
• Attend project review meetings.
• Keep management informed on progress of projects
• Assist in the development of existing and new products, develop methods within the manufacturing process.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Ensure appropriate checking & review of all documents and drawings before release at any stage

Criteria:

• Third level Engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD / Solidworks (or similar)
• Excellent communications skills
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
• Proficient with MS Office applications
• Able to work independently or in team environment.

Salary is in the region of £35-37k depending upon experience.
