Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Head of Design to lead and elevate its workplace design practice in London. The role demands a senior, hands-on leader who can inspire a high-performing team, win major client pitches, and maintain design quality across complex projects.

You will shape the design proposition, manage client brief responses, and guide delivery from concept to completion while balancing creativity with commercial objectives.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading workplace/interiors/architecture projects.
• Proven track record winning and delivering complex, high-quality schemes.
• Strong client-facing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of designers to deliver ambitious workplace projects.
• Shape design strategies and narratives for major pitches and opportunities.
• Lead client meetings, site visits, and briefing sessions to capture requirements.
• Translate client feedback into compelling, viable design solutions.
• Oversee design development from concept through to delivery, ensuring quality and adherence to budgets.
• Mentor and develop Junior, Mid-Weight and Senior Designers.
