Job summary

Landor, London studio, is seeking a Design Director (Experience) to lead the creative vision for experience-led projects, including spatial design, retail environments, branded spaces, pop-ups, exhibitions and expos.

You will translate brand, business, and audience insights into distinctive concepts, guiding the team from brief through concept development to delivery while collaborating with strategy, brand, digital, architecture, production and client services.

Qualifications

Significant design leadership experience in a brand-focused agency or similar environment.
Ability to translate brand and business insights into distinctive, high-quality experience design.
Strong storytelling and presentation skills to influence clients and stakeholders.
Proven ability to lead and inspire multi-disciplinary project teams.
Financial awareness to manage project budgets and scope.
Awareness of current design trends and industry shifts.

Responsibilities

Define and champion the creative vision and design strategy for experience-led projects, including spatial design and branded spaces.
Translate brand, business, and audience insights into concepts and experiences that connect physical and digital touchpoints.
Lead projects from brief through design development, prototyping, production, installation and launch.
Oversee design reviews, technical coordination and site implementation to protect the creative vision.
Lead client workshops, present strategies, and build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
Mentor and develop designers, fostering a collaborative creative culture.
Collaborate across strategy, brand, digital, and production teams to deliver integrated solutions.
