A world-renowned business specializing in the supply of high-quality components to the automotive industry is currently looking to recruit a Design and Development Engineer. This company is developing both evolutionary and revolutionary solutions, launching more than 20 new products in recent years. As a Design & Development Engineer, you will be responsible for design and/or development testing of current and future products.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Ensure work is completed to meet project schedules
• Deliver cost-effective solutions
• Maintain strong liaison with internal and external suppliers and customers
• Work across multiple projects simultaneously
• Champion innovative and efficient testing and validation methods
• Complete design activities including CAD, FMEA, calculations, and tolerance layouts
• Participate in technical design reviews and support IPR activities

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
• Minimum of five years' experience in design, development, or project engineering, preferably in an automotive environment
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Pro-Engineer Creo 2
• Practical experience with test methodologies and procedures
• Understanding of materials, stress/strain theory, and FE Analysis
