Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Design Coordinator to act as a key link between design, engineering and project teams. You will review and amend design documentation in PDF and AutoCAD formats, support engineers in delivering security system projects, and assist with design procedures in collaboration with clients and fellow designers.

Occasional site surveys will be required. You will collaborate with clients and designers, manage design packages and ensure adherence to company

• Experience in CNI/utilities (instrumentation, electrical, civils).
• Design experience in the security industry (Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Systems).
• Proficient in AutoCAD and PDF/document editing tools.

• Populate and maintain registers including TRR and CDM
• Review internal and 3rd party design drawings and documents

Essential Experience & Skills

• Previous experience in CNI or utilities (instrumentation, electrical, civils)
• Previous design experience in the security industry (Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Systems).
• Proficient in AutoCAD and document editing tools.
• Strong understanding of design procedures and ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
