Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a CDM Coordinator for a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our Technical team. You will coordinate design information across multiple residential projects, review drawings, support due diligence, and liaise with consultants to meet regulatory and sustainability requirements.

You will attend site meetings, manage consultant documentation, and support planning, building control and warranty approvals, ensuring compliance and timely progression of projects.

CDM (Construction Design and Management) Coordinator

Your new company
A growing, national residential developer is looking to appoint a Design Coordinator to join their Technical team on a 12-month fixed-term contract or temporary basis (outside IR35). Working closely with the Head of Technical, you will support the successful delivery of residential developments from initial concept through to project completion, RIBA stages 1-7.

Your new role
You will coordinate and manage design information across a portfolio of projects, reviewing drawings and specifications, supporting technical due diligence activities, liaising with consultants and internal stakeholders, and ensuring designs meet operational, regulatory and sustainability requirements. The role will also involve attending site meetings, managing consultant documentation, and supporting planning, building control and warranty approvals.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll have experience working client side or consultancy, working on residential developments, together with a relevant qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering or a similar discipline. A strong understanding of Building Regulations, sustainable design principles and the RIBA Plan of Work is essential, alongside excellent communication and organisational skills. CAD or BIM experience would be beneficial.
