Your new school

We are working with a well-regarded school in Bridgend seeking a passionate and skilled Design & Technology teacher specializing in Product Design. The school fosters a welcoming environment that encourages students to develop their creativity and confidence. Your new role

Starting ASAP, you will be a full-time teacher specializing in Product Design, with experience in workshop settings. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Teaching KS3 - KS5 students
2. Nurturing a range of learning abilities
3. Participating in staff meetings
4. Attending parents' evenings
5. Providing pastoral support
6. Planning and preparing lessons, marking, and assessment

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PCET with secondary school experience
• Experience teaching Engineering or Product Design
• A proven track record of helping students succeed
• Strong classroom management skills
• Registered with the Education Workforce Council
• Hold a DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain one
