Supply Desk Ltd. is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher for a long-term role at a welcoming secondary school in Brighton. The position starts in November 2026 and runs initially until Christmas 2026, offering a short-term placement with potential impact.

The role covers Art and Photography, requiring a teacher who can inspire students, develop practical skills and bring creativity into the classroom. ECTs are welcome and will be supported to deliver engaging lessons.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Art at secondary level, or suitable training and experience as an ECT.
• Strong subject knowledge of Art, with ability to teach Photography.
• Creative, enthusiastic and passionate about inspiring young people.
• Demonstrates effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Available to start in November and commit through to Christmas.

• Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons that encourage creativity and self-expression.
• Teach Art and Photography, supporting students to develop their artistic and technical skills.

About the Role

Supply Desk is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher for a long-term opportunity at a welcoming secondary school in Brighton.

Starting in November 2026, this role will initially run until the Christmas break, making it an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for a short-term placement with the potential to make a real impact.

The successful candidate will teach Art, with Photography also forming part of the role. We're looking for someone who can bring creativity into the classroom, inspire students to explore different artistic techniques and help them develop their confidence and practical skills.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Art Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is passionate about their subject and confident creating engaging lessons for secondary-age pupils.
