We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Power Station Integration Engineer to be involved in an industry leading, cutting-edge design project for a new type of power station.

The Power Station Integration Engineer will integrate functional design and undertake design optioneering to define the design of the RR SMR power station as part of the Power Station Integration team.

The Power Station Integration Engineer will deliver integrated power station capabilities using systems engineering methods, working with subject matter experts and discipline design teams across the power station to ensure top level requirements are met and an effective product is delivered.

Key Achievements and Responsibilities:

Deliver the design of Power Station Capabilities and manage the performance and attributes of the power station in relation to these, e.g., net power output, availability, product cost, etc.

  • Own the delivery of the capability driving decision making and design development to programme whilst coordinating other disciplines.
  • Ensure the requirements flow to the lower tier systems enables the overarching power station objectives to be met.
  • Elicit capability requirements.
  • Integrate capability across multi-disciplined design teams to develop the design of the capability.
  • Deliver the capability within the Power Station Architecture Model.

Use optioneering & systems engineering techniques to deliver Power Station design solutions against product requirements.

Pay and Benefits:
  • Salary: £40,000 - £52,500
  • A performance related bonus of up to 12.5%
  • An attractive pension scheme with 12% employer and 6% employee contributions
  • Flexible benefits allowance of £2,200, enabling you to create a bespoke package to suit your needs
  • 28 days annual leave (plus bank holiday) with ability to buy additional days
