Job summary

Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust invites a Locum Consultant Dermatologist to join the team. The post focuses on delivering inpatient and outpatient dermatology care, contributing to on-call duties, teaching medical students and trainees, and leading clinical governance and audits.

The successful candidate will help expand services, lead in education, and maintain high standards of patient-centered care within a supportive multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration or eligible within 6 months.
• Membership of the British Association of Dermatologists or equivalent.
• Higher degree such as PhD/MD submitted or awarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide dermatology services in inpatient and outpatient settings with colleagues.
• Contribute to on-call cover 9am-5pm for the Dermatology service and support ward/ambulatory care queries.
• Participate in monthly clinical governance and academic meetings.
• Engage in teaching of pre-clinical and clinical students and supervise trainees.
• Contribute to medical audit and governance meetings and development portfolios.
• Maintain professional development per Royal College of Physicians standards.
