Job summary

Everything Skin Limited, Bupa is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support our dermatology service, delivering high-quality patient-centred care in a welcoming clinical environment. You will assist clinicians, prepare rooms and equipment, and help manage patient records and appointments.

Ideal candidates have Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, Care Certificate, and experience in healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Qualified in health and social care with relevant diploma or certificate.
• Experience in healthcare settings, especially dermatology, outpatient or private care is preferred.
• Proficient with basic medical terminology and patient records management.

Responsibilities

• Support patients before, during and after dermatology consultations and procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, equipment and sterile instruments.
• Assist clinicians with minor surgical procedures, biopsies, laser treatments and wound care.
• Apply dressings and provide post-procedure care under clinical direction.
• Take and manage clinical photographs where required.
• Maintain patient records and clinical documentation.
• Support clinic operations through appointment coordination, stock management and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, health and safety and clinical governance standards.
