Job summary

Locala Health and Wellbeing is seeking a Bank GPwSI in Dermatology to join our Community Dermatology Service. The role involves delivering high-quality dermatology care in community clinics, with support from a Consultant Dermatologist and a dermatology nursing team.

You will develop your dermatology and minor surgery skills while contributing to improved access to specialist assessment and treatment close to home. Flexible bank sessions are available, subject to service needs.

Qualifications

• GPwSI experience in dermatology is essential.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary community dermatology team.
• Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality dermatology consultations and treatments in a community setting.
• Assess and manage inflammatory skin conditions (eczema, acne, psoriasis, rosacea).
• Perform minor skin surgical procedures within competence (excisisions, punch biopsies, cryotherapy).
• Escalate appropriately and refer as needed according to pathways.
• Collaborate with GPwSIs, dermatology nurse and Consultant Dermatologist to ensure safe, effective patient care.
