Job summary

Bupa Health Clinics in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Consultant Dermatologist to join as Dermatology Clinical Lead, providing leadership and clinical accountability for dermatology services while undertaking a 4‑hour weekly leadership commitment.

The role allows collaboration with the Clinical Director and clinic teams to uphold high standards, governance and service quality, with potential extra dermatology clinic sessions within Bupa.

Qualifications

• GMC registration with licence to practise and inclusion on Dermatology Specialist Register.
• MRCP, FRCP or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support and Safeguarding Level 3 training certificates.
• Experience in complaint handling, incident management and clinical governance.
• Experience leading dermatology services and CPD activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and governance for dermatology services.
• Ensure safe, effective and person-centred care in line with regulations.
• Input into patient feedback, complaints and risk reviews.
• Lead clinical governance, MDTs, audits and inspections preparation.
• Mentor Medical Practitioners and support development conversations.
• Collaborate with Practice Managers and teams to support service delivery.
