Job summary

Bupa Cheltenham Clinic is seeking a Consultant Dermatologist to join our private dermatology network. This self-employed, part-time role (minimum 8 hours weekly) offers the chance to contribute to high-quality outpatient dermatology care within a renowned national provider.

You will assess and manage a broad range of skin conditions, perform procedures, and develop personalised treatment plans while maintaining high standards of patient safety and records.

Qualifications

• GMC registration with a licence to practise in Dermatology.
• Specialist Dermatology Register entry.
• Experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of dermatological conditions.
• Proficiency in performing dermatology procedures and minor skin surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of dermatological conditions.
• Deliver high-quality outpatient dermatology services with excellent patient outcomes and experience.
• Perform biopsies, excisions and minor surgical interventions as appropriate.
• Develop personalised treatment plans and advise patients on management of conditions.
• Maintain accurate, timely and compliant patient records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including GPs, nurses and surgeons.
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and service development.
• Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, patient safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Support teaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and stay updated on dermatology advancements.
