Job Description:
Role Responsibilities:
- OAD Derivative Operations is a central processing hub responsible for a broad and complex suite of regulatory obligations and derivative products.
- Provide support to Team Leader and deliver key services to front office stakeholders and outsourced locations in the EMEA division.
- Ensure derivative transactions are processed in accordance with Head Office rules, regulatory obligations, and local procedures.
- Generate and complete long form and ISDA trade confirmations timely, ensuring they are sent and countersigned by external customers.
- Create, check, and agree rate reset notices with external customers.
- Process deals that have been canceled or corrected by each office.
- Check details of executed option trades.
- Monitor modification queues in SAA, Montran, and ensure payments are released appropriately.
- Input and prepare MTs in SAA as necessary.
- Monitor interface screens in TBO and ensure process completion.
- Manage group email inboxes and queries promptly.
- Collaborate with and support the team to meet customer needs, team objectives, and ad hoc tasks within set timeframes.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience in derivatives settlements, including Interest Rate Swaps, Cross currency swaps, Caps/Floors, Inflation swaps, and FX Options.
- Experience in drafting and matching derivative confirmations.
- Understanding of ISDA Definitions for rates derivatives products.
- Ability to draft bespoke language for non-standard products aligned with ISDA Definitions.
- Experience in client interaction, including chasing, affirmation, negotiation, and query resolution.
- Understanding payment formats and processing.
- Good communication skills for effective engagement at various levels.
- Understanding of Operational Risk and Control.
- Self-motivated, energetic, flexible, and collaborative.
- Ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments for derivatives business.
- Ability to prioritize daily responsibilities.
- Support to Team Leader for process improvements.
- Willingness to challenge existing processes while maintaining control and enhancing customer experience.
- Effective communication skills.
Location:
This role involves hybrid working with presence required at the London office 2-3 days a week.
Working hours:
