A leading international Crypto firm is seeking an experienced Derivatives Counsel for an 8-month fixed-term contract. The role involves drafting and negotiating complex trading agreements and advising on legal matters related to cryptocurrencies and derivatives. Candidates should have a strong legal foundation in finance, with at least four years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a legal role, particularly in derivatives or crypto.
• Familiarity with ISDA agreements and crypto-specific legal contexts.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills in a financial or legal setting.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate ISDA Master Agreements and other trading contracts.
• Provide legal advice on netting, margining, and collateral in crypto asset transactions.
• Support compliance and risk management in digital asset trading.

Job Description:

We are partnering with a leading international Crypto firm to find a Derivatives/Trading Counsel for an 8-month FTC, providing interim coverage during a critical period. Responsibilities include:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating:
• ISDA Master Agreements, Credit Support Annexes (CSAs)
• Crypto-specific master trading agreements and repo agreements
• Derivative contracts involving tokens, stablecoins, and synthetic assets
• Advising on netting, collateral, and margining in digital asset contexts
