Job summary

The Actuary partner is seeking two derivative professionals for a London-based role with a specialist international insurer. In a high-visibility capacity you will shape the management of the derivatives portfolio, supported by enhanced systems and a reinforced middle office.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders across investment, risk, actuarial and finance, with genuine scope to take ownership, broaden technical expertise and help drive a growing, lean team in a dynamic, globally

Qualifications

• 5-10 years' experience in a derivatives role within insurance, reinsurance, asset management or investment banking.
• Notable experience in structuring derivative portfolios.
• Good technical understanding of derivative instruments, collateral management and liquidity.
• Strong understanding of balance sheets and ALM considerations with regulatory and accounting frameworks.

The Derivatives team is of significant strategic importance and as such, is a key area of investment as the business looks to expand. In this highly visible role you will be instrumental in shaping the management of the derivatives portfolio, supported by enhanced systems and reinforced middle office.
