Job summary

A leading structural engineering consultancy in Derby is seeking a Structural Technician with proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of Revit preferred. This role involves producing high-quality structural drawings for projects across various sectors such as commercial and health, each valued over £20m. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience and will enjoy opportunities for progression and professional development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in a structural technician role.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality structural drawings and details using AutoCAD.
• Work with various materials including steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and other technicians.

Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Working knowledge of Revit

Education

OND or higher qualification
